Ben has been the owner of Kramer’s since 2013. Originally from Albania, Ben moved to Canada as a young man to build a better life for himself and his family. Having worked in various jobs, he decided in 2011 to try his hand at the restaurant business and purchased a small Greek restaurant named Folia Grill in East York and moved into the apartment upstairs with his wife and two young sons.

Stephen has worked in the food business for much of his career and his food is inspired by his childhood spent between eastern Ontario and Arizona. He was a friend of the original owners of Folia Grill and had worked for them as head chef since the opening of the restaurant. Upon Ben’s arrival at Folia, Stephen agreed to stay on transitionally to show him the ropes. Almost 15 years later, the two are still working side by side everyday building Kramer’s into the local favourite that it is.

Ronza was hired several years ago as a server and bartender. Her level of engagement and capacity to care quickly made her an essential part of the team. This past year she was asked by Ben to step into the role of Bar Manager. Since then, she has become integral to the day-to-day running of the bar, while still being (pretty much) everyone’s favourite server. She is one in a million: just ask our regulars!
